Formulae SAE Team : Advisor to Formulae SAE team at MIT College of Engineering and worked on development of a data acquisition system for the suspension travel of the car wheels. Used ATMEGA 328 to gather the travel distance data through the analog port of the controller. Also worked on the wiring of the entire car which includes the display, ignition, kill switches and battery.

NI-Yantra Competition: This is a competition organized by National Instruments every year which includes building of an application based on LABVIEW. Project Titled "Farm Assist" was presented by my team. The Project included an autonomous mobile Robot which would move across a field cutting the excessive weeds in the field. Image Processing was used for distinguishing between regular plants and the weeds. The robots included a Rack and Pinion and Swivel Mechanism for Weed Removal. It was also used to increase the yeild of the crop by providing artificial light at Sunset to the buds of the Crop based on the research Presented by Research Scientist Dr. Karve. Arduino, Joystick, Camera was interfaced to Labview. The Motor Control, Sensor Inputs of Encoders and Switch inputs were given to the Arduino.

Wireless Electric Vehicle Charger : With the increase in interest for Electric vehicles, the wireless charging technology has gained impetus in recent years. The scope for the project includes studying various available technologies in the market and studying various topologies for the same. Implementing these topologies in PLECS supported by Simulink.
Testimonials
“The amount of hard work Amit puts into his project work is well exemplified from the fact that he used to work till late night to get the work done in time. His ability to identify the problems in circuits and finding an easy solution to it was also noticed. As working in the company demanded a great deal of team work, such abilities were shown by him while working with his fellow classmates and the company employees.”
